***New Online Banking Security Feature***

The protection of your personal information is very important to us.  We are pleased to announce an added login security feature that helps guard your personal information by adding another layer of identity verification to online financial interactions.

How does the new security feature work?

When logging into online banking on your computer, you will receive a message (text or voice) on your phone with a 6-digit code.  You will be asked to enter this code to complete the login process on your computer.  This feature takes the place of answering security questions when logging into online banking.  This feature is also available in the mobile app.

Online Banking at Union Bank is fast, convenient, completely secure and FREE.  Our internet banking system gives you greater control of your finances, plus the convenience of accessing your account information 24 hours a day, 7 days a week.

  • Sign up for Online Banking by clicking Enroll in the upper right corner of our homepage to register for Online Banking.
  • View all of your Union Bank accounts online and in one place.
  • Monitor the activity in your account.  Every time you write a check, make a withdrawal or deposit you will have an online record of every transaction.

NOTE:  Inactive Online Banking accounts will automatically purge at 6 months inactivity.  You must re-enroll to create a new Online account.  Inactive Online Banking account statements will revert back to paper delivery.  You must re-enroll to receive eStatements.  Hometown Access accounts reverting back to paper statements, will receive the monthly service fee unless you re-enroll.  

Mobile Banking

Your money is at your fingertips with the Union Bank Mobile Banking App for iPhone®, iPad® and Android™ smartphone.  We offer you the freedom to bank on the go with the power and convenience of our Union Bank Mobile Banking app.  Union Bank Mobile is free* and can be used with your online banking account.

Union Bank Mobile Banking will give you the ability to:

  • View account balances
  • Track recent activity
  • Transfer funds between your Union Bank accounts
  • Manage your debit card
  • Find the nearest branch
  • Make bill payments (enrollment in online banking is required)

Protect your debit and credit cards through your mobile device by receiving alerts and defining when, where and how your payment cards are used with the Union Bank Mobile Banking app.

The Union Bank Mobile Banking App can be downloaded at the Apple App Store™ or the Google Play Store™ from your mobile device.  To search for the app, iPhone/iPad users can use "Union Bank Inc of WV" or click the link below.

Once the app has downloaded, please enter your online banking credentials to login.  Depending on the make/model of the device, users can set facial recognition or fingerprint settings to be used during the login process.

*Mobile Banking is a free service from Union Bank and is available only to customers with a Union Bank account.  However, standard text messaging and data plan rates may apply.  Consult your wireless carrier for details on specific fees.

eStatements

Sign up for eStatements and help save the environment.  Click the Profile tab and select Electronic statements to enroll.

Receive notification that your bank statement is available to view.  You  must login to online banking and click on the account and then the documents tab.

Notifi

Notifi allows our customers to set up and receive alerts with information about their accounts.  Customers can choose what, when, where and how they receive their realtime alerts.  Simply login to your online banking and click Alerts on the homepage or login to the mobile app and click Manage Alerts to customize your notifications.

Mobile Payments

Secure your Union Bank Debit Card in a Digital Wallet

Securely use your Union Bank Debit Card to make purchases with Apple Pay™, Android Pay™, and Samsung Pay™.  By not having to swipe your card, you'll keep your debit card information securely stored in a "digital wallet".

To use the digital wallet, download the appropriate app to your smartphone device and simplify the way you shop.  Mobile payment options are most secure than using a traditional credit or debit card since your card number and identity are not shared with the merchant or transmitted with your payment.  Plus your actual card numbers are stored on your device.  That's safe & secure.

iPay™ users download the Apple Pay™ app from your smartphone.  Apple Pay will perform a validation with Union Bank before the card is ready to use.

Android™ users download the Android Pay™ app from your smartphone.  Android Pay will perform a validation with Union Bank before the card is ready to use.

Samsung™ users download the Samsung Pay™ app from your smartphone.  Samsung Pay will perform a validation with Union Bank before the card is ready to use.

Note:  Mobile payment capability is dependent on your smartphone model.  Please check with your service provider to see if your phone model is compatible with mobile payments/digital wallets.

Bill Pay

Bill Pay allows you to pay your recurring or one-time bills while saving you time and mailing costs, and helping protect against fraud and late payments.

Bill Pay lets you:

  • Pay bills to any business, merchant or individual.
  • Make single payments or schedule recurring payments.
  • Receive bills via eBill - an electronic version of your bill that we retrieve directly from your payee's Web site and display online.
  • Receive email alerts that notify you when a bill is received, a payment is due or a payment has been sent.
  • Convert paper bills into electronic bills, further simplifying the bill payment process 

Bill Pay helps you manage your finances with ease:

  • Create personal notes to remind you about payment details.
  • Create custom reports and download report data into popular personal finance programs.

Zelle®

Zelle® is a convenient way to send money using your mobile banking app or online banking account.  It is a fast, safe and easy way to send and request money.  All you need is the recipient's email address or U.S. mobile phone number.

What is Zelle®?

Zelle® is a fast, safe and easy way to send money directly between almost any bank accounts in the U.S., typically within minutes.  With just an email address or U.S. mobile phone number, you can send money to people you trust, regardless of where they bank.

Who can I send money to with Zelle®?

You can send money to friends, family and others you trust.  Since money is sent directly from your bank account to another person's bank account within minutes, it's important to only send money to people you trust, and always ensure you've used the correct email address or U.S. mobile number.

How do I use Zelle®?

You can send, request, or receive money with Zelle®.  To get started, login into your online banking or mobile app and select "Send Money with Zelle®".  Enter your email address or U.S. mobile phone number, receive a one-time verification code, enter it, accept terms and conditions, and you're ready to start sending and receiving with Zelle®.

To send money using Zelle®, simply select someone from your mobile device's contacts (or add a trusted recipient's email address or U.S. mobile phone number), add the amount you'd like to send and an optional note, review, then hit "Send."  In most cases, the money is available to your recipient in minutes!

To request money using Zelle®, choose "Request", select the individual(s) from whom you'd like to request money, enter the amount you'd like to request, include an optional note, review and hit "Request".

To receive money, just share your enrolled email address or U.S. mobile phone number with a friend and ask them to send you money with Zelle®.

Card Services

VISA® Debit Card

Visa debit cards are more convenient than writing checks and better protected than carrying cash. In addition, debit cards can be used to withdraw funds from your checking or savings account at any of our ATM locations.

Our cards have an embedded chip for added security.  EMV chip cards give you an extra layer of protection, making your card extremely difficult to counterfeit or copy. 

Chip card transactions offer you advanced security in-store and at the ATM by making a unique code for every transaction.  If the card data and the unique, one-time code are stolen, the information cannot be used to create counterfeit cards and commit fraud.

ATM Card

You can withdraw funds from your checking, savings, or money market accounts with an ATM card. This is a free service if you have an account with Union bank. However, if you use your card at a location not owned by Union Bank, you may be charged a fee.

VISA® Platinum Credit Card

VISA® Platinum Credit Card rewards you with points and is supported by an experienced, caring customer service staff ready to help.  State-of-the-art security & accepted from sea to shining sea.
